Yes, we feel very safe about walking around the riverwalk and to the walking bridge that goes over the river. There are some restaurants close to the riverwalk, but the majority we …

Yes, we feel very safe about walking around the riverwalk and to the walking bridge that goes over the river. There are some restaurants close to the riverwalk, but the majority we have found are on the main streets that the buses go on. All kinds of restaurants and some are our favorites. I would suggest searching thru Google or Tripadvisor. Some are fancy, others not so much. We love to explore the area. Whether walking or taking the free bus, I hope this helps. On the other end of the downtown area close to the Choo Choo: This area has been booming with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc.
