The causeway is not the place to ride bikes. It is a very busy highway and this beach is basically the side of the road. You can rent wave runners...do not know about bikes.
If we park our car at Cypress Point Park, unload our bikes and pedal west, is there a dedicated trail for bikes that leads to the Courtney Campbell Trail - or must we share with cars?

It is the same path as the main trail. Look for the signs there.

For a vehicle that size it might be more convenient to park at the boat ramp on the opposite side of the road, you still can access the trail in your bicycle by riding under the bridge. Or …
For a vehicle that size it might be more convenient to park at the boat ramp on the opposite side of the road, you still can access the trail in your bicycle by riding under the bridge. Or depending on the time you could try to park on the grass parallel to the one way road along the trail.
