We so enjoyed our time at the lighthouse: great views, sounds of the ocean and birds, and learning more about the history of the lighthouse. We loved finding the burrowing birds too! So cute ! Full review by Joette N

A:
You can see it from the lookout point. If you want to get close it has to be open. But it wasn’t worth it in my opinion. To pay the fee, and it was so crowded.

Although the point is moot as I write this, the park is operated by the Federal Government, so it may well be affected in the event of anothershutdown. The site's phone number is 808-828-1413.
