This park is very large and offers many activities. There’s a dry camping area. There’s also a campground that has electricity and water connections with a dump station. The cactus garden was nice. …Full review by TravelingBum52

It’s a park on lake with lots of places to go boating but not much else. Not really scenic or nice to sit on water. Unless you have a ost scc CD podFull review by Vickers55

Has anybody driven a seaplane up on the beach to park and camp (or cabin) overnight (with reservation)?

Not while we’ve been there but sounds like a fun way to visit the river.

Some Lake Havasu City residents have saguaro cacti in their yards, and you see them out in the desert. Probably will find some in the SP.

April is spring break time all the college kids will be there. Pretty much all of lake Havasue will be over run by spring breakers. I would pick some place else to go if your looking for quiet.

Where we stay was for camping. However, they do have a day area for picnic and gatherings at the north end of park.

There is definitely a possibility. Have seen coyotes in town many times. Watch your pets and don't put your hand under anything. Lots of people around so just be careful.
