Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. An interesting partly restored property showing house design over a number of centuries including interesting back stories. Full review by Richard S

Hi there. We are very sorry for not replying to this message sooner, we have only just seen it. For future visits, dogs are welcome in our gardens and grounds, providing they are kept on a lead and all mess is cleaned up. Only guide dogs are allowed in the Hall. Best Wishes, MH&G Team
I am thinking of visiting Middleton Hall next week but as I walk with sticks I am concerned about access. I'm fine on stairs as long as,there, are handrails but one review mentions a steep climb to get in and an open walkway to get out. Is this still the case? Thank you
A:
Some of the stairs to some of the rooms are quite steep but in my opinion there is alot to see on ground level also. The entrance is over a wooden bridge over the moat.
I am interested in bringing an Historical Group from Derby to visit. Do you open on a Thursday for private parties with facilities open as well. I normally bring 35 of our members when I do a visit. We would like a tour and wander round the grounds if that is possiible plus an afternoon tea. Can you accommodate a 49 seater coach? Thank you Secetary
