You just need to be aware that obviously during the dry season it has almost dried up. Very short walk down lots of steps to the pool at the bottom. No swimming possible while we were there.Full review by MistyJones2

Not too dramatic, but pretty. The walk is not too bad, just one steep stretch (stairs) but most of the way is paved. Once at the bottom you'll have to wait your turn for a photo, as it gets pretty cr…Full review by JMK_The_Wanderer

You only need to pay for the entrance fee into the National Park. No need to pay other fee except if you want to hire a tour guide to bring you to other attraction places in the park

No, it's about 18km away . You will need transport if you want to visit a few places within the National Park as it is really quite a big area

You can choose which attractions within the Khao Yai national park that you wish to visit but you need to have your own means of transport as there's no public transportation like a bus service within the national park. We hired a taxi from Bangkok for 3 days to get around in Khao Yai and back to Bangkok.

Sorry so late with my response. I do not think you will want to go all the way down to the waterfall area and then over all the rocks with a young baby. Lots of risk of a slip and fall even without a baby so I would not recommend this.
