Kerry Park is an iconic spot to take photos of Seattle at the park itself is quite narrow but it affords a great view of the Seattle skyline and waterfront. It can get quite crowded at times and t…Full review by Ed S

We drove up to Kerry Park so that we could watch the sunset. We only had a few hours in Seattle, and not enough time to go to an observation tower. We found a parking spot right by the park, and we e…Full review by Travel_Addict_Cyprus

Kerry Park is located in a neighborhood of beautiful homes so be sure to take your time getting to Kerry Park. Parking can be an issue and be nice to the neighbors who put up with a lot of extra tra…Full review by WillieMacfan
Hello, what other photographs did you get of the city?
A:
You should look to get images of the sign above the market. At the corner of Pine and 1st street, you can see the sign, "Public Market." Very iconic image of the city.
I'm flying there again in a few weeks. But other than photos of the skyline from the water on a ferry, I could not find any good angles. Where should I be in the city to get good shots of the downtown seattle skyline. Also if you were there for a sunset, where should I be to get the right angle?

Take a walk from the Sculpture Park along the water going North. View plus a little exercise. Another great walk with a splendid view is along 7th and 8th Avenue West. Just walk west on Highland after Kerry Park and that will lead you right to it. On a clear day the Olympic Mountains are breathtaking.
I'm reading different opinions re how good the view is. I'm interested in getting the iconic photo with space needle and Mt Rainier. Is this possible or do trees, etc obstruct?
A:
Worth it. Favor the right side of the park and arrive at dusk when the city lights turn on. At night you lose Rainier. During the day, the cranes will distract from your image.
