It’s roughly a 3km walk around the cove and there quite a number of interesting public art pieces to look at as well as plenty of fabulous waterside cafe/dining (and a great shaded children’s play ground) also an easy walk through Victoria Gardens (next to the cove, eastern end) to the new spectacular Matagarup Bridge leading to the Optus Stadium and grounds. It’s a lovely way to spend a morning or afternoon including a coffee/cake break or a meal. You can catch the free yellow cat bus to and from the cove with several stops on Royal Street which runs parallel to the cove. Extremely picturesque area, have your camera ready for any dolphins
