Dr Alexander Turfe wants his patients to know their time is valued and to ensure they have a one-on-one relationship with their physician. He is humbled and honored that they chose to see him in this chapter of their lives. He understands that they often do not realize they are in pain until there is a loss of function. In their first meeting, Dr Turfe listens to their story, so he can find where their pain is generating from and how this affects their quality of life. Once he has an idea and orders the appropriate tests, if necessary, he wants the patient to understand what treatments are available. At this point, the patient will have a plan formed specifically for their needs.
