Made out of previous almshouses, this museum had three levels to explore plus wonderful herb garden and formal gardens.You are encourage to relax and enjoy sitting on one of the benches in the arbour…Full review by Jacqui H

Really loved this museum in the old almshouses. Great set piece displays of different time periods. Free entry. The beetroot latte in the cafe was lovely. Highly recommended.Full review by elizabethbD3436PH

Amazing museum. Absolutely enthralling. I loved it. Partner thought it was a tad woke and left wing preachy. I shall return to see the lovely gardens, they look even better than the museum. The Museu…Full review by Phillip T
Hi, We used a taxi. It seems like there might have been a parking lot. There was on street parking. Seemed like a quietish neighborhood. Perhaps you could call & ask at the museum.
yes - but probably best to check with museum that there are no school parties or other larger parties as the pathway between the rooms is not over wide.
