Manchester United are weighing up a move for Ollie Watkins or Benjamin Sesko as their striker signing. United have identified Aston Villa figurehead Watkins, 29, as their preferred target but the 22-year-old RB Leipzig frontman Sesko is also under consideration as they approach the final four weeks of the transfer window.

Manchester United believe a deal for Watkins could be done for £40m to £45m, while Sesko is likely to be around £69m to £78m
