Glenn walked into the locker room in Hempstead, N.Y., with stars in his eyes. For his rookie year, 1994, his locker was next to Lott’s. Glenn held Lott, one of the NFL greatest safeties in NFL history, then at the end of his career, in such high regard that he had a hard time speaking to him like they were teammates. He’d call him a father figure.

The New York Jets are bringing back the passing game coordinator position on their coaching staff under Aaron Glenn. According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Scott Turner formerly of the Las Vegas Raiders was hired in New York as the team’s passing game coordinator.

Turner joins Engstrand, quarterbacks coach Charles London, receivers coach Shawn Jefferson and offensive line coach Steve Heiden on the offensive side of the ball. Glenn has also brought in defensive coordinator Steve Wilks and special teams coordinator Chris Banjo.
