Scottish actor Rory McCann, best known for playing the burly brute The Hound on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will replace late actor Ray Stevenson for a second season of Star Wars show Ahsoka, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Disney has just tapped a notable Game of Thrones actor to take over the role of Ahsoka's villain Baylan Skoll for Season 2!

Along with Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), the series rolled a laundry list of "Star Wars Rebels" characters out into the live-action side of a galaxy far, far away, continuing the beloved animated show's story five years after it came to an end.

Rory McCann has joined the cast of Ahsoka Season 2 as Baylan Skoll, a character portrayed in the first season by the late Ray Stevenson.

McCann is best known to viewers around the world for his intimidating turn as The Hound in Game of Thrones, but has other notable credits in Hot Fuzz, Jumanji: The Next Level and Gladiator II as well as recent Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off Knuckles.
