The Alabama baseball team's stay in Hoover for the SEC Tournament ultimately spanned two games. After the first, a 4-1 win on Tuesday against 16-seed Missouri, head coach Rob Vaughn said redshirt sophomore Riley Quick hoped to start Wednesday in the second round.

The No. 8 seed Vols beat the No. 9 seed Alabama 15-10 in Hoover, Alabama, on May 21 with a huge offensive performance. Tennessee scored 10 straight runs after falling behind 6-5 in the top of the fifth. Every player in the Tennessee starting lineup had at least one hit while eight had at least two hits and three had three hits.
