Celsius Holdings, Inc. announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Alani Nutrition LLC (“Alani Nu”) for $1.8 billion, including $150 million in tax assets for a net purchase price of $1.

The deal adds a fast-growing brand popular with young women to Celsius’s product line as its own growth slows.

Combined portfolio of energy drinks and wellness products expected to drive about $2 billion in sales once the deal is completed.
