Ishan Kishan top-scored with 94 not out as Sunrisers Hyderabad scripted a 42-run consolation win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League on Friday. Kishan hit seven fours and five sixes in his sparkling 48-ball knock to help Hyderabad post a formidable 231-6 off 20 overs in Lucknow.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, playing an IPL game after three weeks, got a reality check in their penultimate league match against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Ekana Stadium on Friday night. It was a game which they were eager to win in order to improve their chances of finishing in the Top-2 after having already qualified for the Playoffs.
