Contemporary Amperex Technology, the world’s largest electric vehicle battery maker, started taking investor orders on Monday for a listing in Hong Kong that could raise more than HK$31 billion ($4 billion).

Chinese battery manufacturer CATL aims to raise at least HK$31.01 billion ($3.99 billion) in its Hong Kong listing, according to its prospectus filed on Monday, the largest listing globally so far in 2025.

The Chinese battery giant is planning to raise as much as US$4.0 billion in the year’s biggest listing in Hong Kong.
