Dallas hired Kansas State offensive coordinator Conor Riley as the team’s new offensive line coach on Friday, the team announced.

K-State Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach Conor Riley will leave the Wildcats to coach in the NFL. On Friday, news broke that Riley accepted a job with the Dallas Cowboys to be their new Offensive Line coach.

It sounds like the Cowboys have found their next offensive line coach. Per Bruce Feldman of TheAthletic.com, Dallas is targeting Conor Riley for the role. Riley is regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches at the college level.

Matt Wells would be a logical replacement. The former Texas Tech head coach spent last year working alongside Riley as the co-offensive coordinator at K-State. He has built a strong relationship with quarterback Avery Johnson and would give the Wildcats an easy transition as play-caller.
