Union County Public Schools says it’s among districts affected by a breach in the state’s student information system, which resulted in unauthorized access to student and teacher data.

The Fayette County Public Schools reported that schools will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the winter weather.

Montgomery County Public Schools opened 18 emergency meal distribution sites for MCPS families on Wednesday. Parents and guardians are able to pick up meals for MCPS youth aged 18 and under. Heating instructions will be provided for all meals.

Montgomery Public Schools will continue to provide free and reduced-price meals for the 2024-2025 school year, the school board announced.
