Delaware is reporting its first case of bird flu on a poultry farm, following dozens of presumed positive cases in wild birds.

The Delaware Department of Agriculture announced Friday morning a commercial broiler flock in Kent County has tested presumptive positive for avian influenza. The flock is being culled to prevent the spread of the virus and the property is quarantined, a news release from the department said.
