Several flights diverted after Israel’s Iran strikes early Friday while Delta and United canceled their service to Tel Aviv.
Global air traffic has been disrupted following Israel’s strikes on Iran Friday, with several major airlines suspending flights to and from locations in the Middle East and rerouting their planes to avoid much of the region’s airspace.
Iran responded with an aerial attack involving about 100 drones, Israel said, but all of them were shot down before hitting their target. The U.S. did not provide any assistance or have any involvement in the Israeli strike, a U.S. official told ABC News.
Airlines has cancelled multiple flights after Israeli airstrikes on Iran forced widespread airspace closures across the Middle East.
