In a recent interview with FIDE, India’s Divya Deshmukh revealed that the team behind her historic Women’s World Cup triumph comprises Hungarian GM Csaba Balogh and Indian GM Abhimanyu Puranik.

Grandmaster Divya Deshmukh arrived here on Wednesday to a reception befitting a champion, with the young achiever saying she was overwhelmed by the affection shown by the the people who had come to greet her at the airport.

Divya Deshmukh is the new women's chess World Cup winner, after she beat Koneru Humpy in the tie-breaks in the final on Monday evening to win the crown. In the process, Divya also became India's 88th Grandmaster -- just the fourth Indian woman to achieve that title.
