Former FBI special agent Nicole Parker weighed in on the Justice Department's request for information on agents involved in the Jan. 6 investigation, saying she sees the effort as one intended to refocus the bureau.

A group of anonymous FBI agents sued the Justice Department to prevent the public release of names of bureau personnel who worked on Jan. 6 cases.

The Justice Department also requested a list of agents involved in a U.S. criminal case against leaders of the Hamas militant group.
