British sovereignty over Gibraltar remains "sacrosanct", the foreign secretary has said, after the UK agreed a deal with the European Union over the territory's post-Brexit future. David Lammy told the House of Commons the agreement included a clause "explicitly protecting our sovereignty".

Checks like those at St Pancras for the Eurostar will take place at Gibraltar Airport, carried out by Spanish and Gibraltarian officials.

An important agreement has been signed by the UK, EU, Spain and Gibraltarian governments which brings to conclusion one of the last issues of Brexit.
