A heat advisory is in effect until 10 p.m. for Metro Detroit as temperatures are expected to feel above 100 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Monday's temperature, humidity and light wind are contributing to the conditions, according to Andrew Arnold, a meteorologist at the NWS Detroit office.
