FBI agents left a property in Chicago's Albany Park neighborhood that is connected to the suspect in a deadly shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington D.C. with boxes of evidence in hand Thursday afternoon.
The Chicago man charged with killing two Israeli embassy staffers has been a vocal advocate for Palestinian issues and a staunch critic of corporations.
Kash Patel, the F.B.I. director, referred to the killings as an act of terror. “Targeted anti-Semitic violence is an attack on our core values and will be met with the full weight of federal law enforcement,” he said on social media.
The man and the woman were shot dead outside the Capital Jewish Museum near Penn Quarter, Washington DC, and police have warned members of the public to avoid the area
The suspect faces federal charges that include two counts of murder for the deaths of Sarah Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky.
