City leaders are voicing concern after the U.S. Department of Labor announced they will eliminate federal job training programs for at-risk youth, including one in metro Atlanta. The goal of job corps is to provide career training for eligible young people between the ages of 16 and 24.

After the Trump administration ordered the pause of operations at Job Corps centers across the country, including three in Michigan, local lawmakers are now pushing for its reversal.
