Dani Olmo's future at Barcelona remains in the balance as the Catalan club pursue their legal battle to get the midfielder registered to play once more.There is precedent -- in 2015 Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal joined Barcelona but were frozen out for six months because the Catalan club was serving a ban which prevented them from registering players.

Barcelona face a revolt from half of LaLiga’s clubs over the ongoing Dani Olmo controversy. Olmo and Pau Victor have been blocked from being registered by the Catalan club for the second half of the season due to their failure to meet with Financial Fair Play (FFP) requirements by the end of December.

According to reports in Spain, the club are set to be granted a precautionary measure which will allow them to temporarily register Olmo.
