The 2025 NFL schedule drops on Wednesday evening, with the league announcing its full 272-game slate for the upcoming season. And the calendar is chock-full of anticipated matchups, including the Dallas Cowboys playing host to the Kansas City Chiefs in a Thanksgiving special on CBS and Paramount+.

The 2025 NFL schedule has been trickling out this week and on Wednesday morning one of the more intriguing matchups was announced as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will face Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

NBC4 will be the viewing home to numerous NFL regular season games in 2025 and the first has been confirmed. The NFL confirmed on Monday that the Sept. 4 season opener will be an NFC East matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles from Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles will experience another first this season when they face the Chicago Bears on Black Friday, Nov. 28. It marks the third year the NFL has held a game the day after Thanksgiving, but it's the first time that it will feature the Eagles.
