Unfortunately, Notre Dame proved themselves superior, winning 23-10. It felt like the Bulldogs were a few plays away from winning the game at any given time, but Notre Dame never gave them the chance, forcing two turnovers and shutting down the UGA offense in the red zone.

And so it ends. George played the type of sloppy football it has played for most of this season this evening in the Sugar Bowl. And on this occasion, they ran into a team good enough to make them pay for it.
