Pennsylvania hunters now have 10 extra Sunday hunting opportunities in 2025. After Pennsylvania lawmakers repealed the ban on Sunday hunting earlier this month, the Pennsylvania Game Commission announced on Monday that Sunday hunting begins Sept. 14 and runs every weekend through Dec. 7.

The state Board of Game Commissioners unanimously directed hunting to be opened on 10 Sundays in 2025, on top of the three previously approved.

Sundays open for hunting in 2025 are: Migratory game bird seasons remain closed on Sundays due to federal regulations. The firearms deer season will still officially close on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Previously authorized Sunday hunting for foxes, coyotes, and crows will continue as scheduled.
