A small prop plane crashed in Eau Gallie Thursday night, according to the Melbourne Police Department. No one was injured, police reported. The plane went down about 7 p.m., with Melbourne police and paramedics responding within minutes. It was not immediately known from where the plane took off.

Officials say the pilot reported engine issues just before bringing the plane down and it took out a power line, which stretched across the entrance ramp to southbound I-95.
