A young mountain lion hit by a vehicle in January was released back to the wild in Orange County after nearly five months of rehabilitation at the San Diego Humane Society’s Ramona Wildlife Center, officials said.

A young mountain lion that was hit by a car earlier this year has been successfully rehabilitated and released back into the wild, thanks to the efforts of the San Diego Humane Society’s Ramona Wildlife Center and its partners.

After five months of rehabilitation following a vehicle collision, a mountain lion is being released back into the wild.
