After over a decade on the showroom floor— and a successful stint on the racetrack —the Lexus RC 2+2 coupe is ending production in 2025. Celebrating the Radical Coupe’s tenure, Lexus is launching the RC F Final Edition, which is a successor to the RC F’s Carbon Package.

The Lexus RC has been on sale for over a decade with nearly 100,000 of the luxury coupes sold. Now, it’s time to say goodbye as the Japanese automaker prepares to let it drive off to the great dealership in the sky.

These more angular RC coupes aren't offered as convertibles, are a sort of mashup of the IS and discontinued GS four-door sedans underneath, and line up against Mercedes-Benz's CLE coupe, BMW's 4 Series coupe,

Lexus RC F Final Edition marks the last stand of the RC, which entered series production back in October 2014 for model year 2015

For fans and admirers of the RC series, today marks a sad day as Lexus has decided to nix the lineup by year's end. Still, for its bell lap the automaker will be offering a Final Edition with bespoke insignia and paint color for the standard RC and RC F.

And while the RC F appears to have increased some $25,000 from 2024, the 2025 model is a single-spec Final Edition that includes the previously optional Carbon Package, which was $17,775 and includes cosmetic upgrades like BBS wheels and a carbon-fiber roof,

Lexus RC And RC F will be the final year for this nameplate, but the $94,000 RC F Final Edition is going out with a 472 horsepower V8 bang.

So long and farewell to another V-8, as Lexus will stop building the RC and RC F coupes at the end of the year.
