Iowa wrestling proved dominant in both the men's and women's categories at the third annual Soldier Salute in Coralville, Iowa. The men's team scored 248 points and had seven wrestlers bring home individual titles in their respective weight classes.

The Iowa men’s and women’s wrestling teams took home 12 total champions between both programs at the Soldier Salute inside Xtream Arena in Coralville on Monday. The No. 2 men sent nine wrestlers to the finals at the end of the two-day tournament,

It was a day of many titles for the two University of Iowa wrestling programs at the 2024 Soldier Salute. With Session’s III and IV finally completed on Monday evening, over half of the first-place winners were Hawkeyes.

The third Soldier Salute will be held Sunday and Monday at Xtream Arena in Coralville. The event has grown and improved from the inaugural competition. The men’s and women’s tournament mesh college wrestling with support of Armed Services.
