T-Mobile US (NASDAQ:TMUS) on Monday announced the appointment of Srinivasan Gopalan as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective March 1.

T-Mobile US has hired a new chief operating officer from Deutsche Telekom, the company's largest shareholder. The cell phone carrier said Monday that Srinivasan Gopalan will take over the role March 1 and lead the company's technology initiatives and go-to-market operations for both its consumer and business groups.
