A federal judge in Washington is temporarily blocking the deportation of eight immigrants to war-torn South Sudan the day after the Supreme Court permitted it to go forward.

Judge Randolph Moss issued an administrative stay that blocked Trump’s deportation of eight men to South Sudan, despite prior Supreme Court intervention.

The Supreme Court on Thursday cleared the way for the the Trump administration to deport to South Sudan a group of migrants that have been held for weeks on a military base in Djibouti.
