Charles Barkley said that he and the rest of the 'Inside the NBA' crew taped a 'pilot' for a similar show that would run on TNT. ESPN has licensed 'Inside the NBA' starting next season.

"Inside the NBA" has been a staple for basketball fans for the past 36 years, and on Saturday night, TNT aired its final episode. Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, and the rest of the crew aren’t going away, though, with the show moving to ESPN starting next season.

Barkley confirmed he signed a new contract with TNT last week. It took both sides two months to reach a deal. While that contract has seven years left on it, Barkley said he made it clear he was willing to work only two years before he calls it a career.
