The high brow event saw the likes of Kim Kardashian, Doja Cat, Rihanna and Sabrina Carpenter grace the red carpet for this year's exhibition 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style'.

The last time Taylor Swift posed at the Met Gala red carpet steps was in 2016, when she served as one of the evening’s co-chairs for the “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” theme. That year marked her sixth appearance at the annual fashion event, having previously attended in 2008, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.
