Tyler Conklin has left the New York Jets as a free agent. And in the process, the Jets have essentially switched out tight ends. Conklin has signed a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers. His agent announced that on social media:

The Jets signed Conklin to a three-year, $20.3 million contract in 2022 as a free agent from the Vikings. He goes down as one of the better free agent signings of former GM Joe Douglas.

The Los Angeles Chargers added another veteran in tight end Tyler Conklin after agreeing to terms with the free agent on a deal, the team announced Friday. Conklin’s agent Mike McCarthy said the deal will be for one year.
