Among those recognized will be Boston Fleet and Team USA captain Hilary Knight, who is the 2025 recipient of the Bob Allen Women’s Player of the Year. Knight led Team USA in scoring at the 2025 World Championships with nine points, including the opening goal in USA's gold medal win over Canada.
Team USA lost to Canada in its last IIHF final in 1934, one year after defeating the Canadians to win the event. That remains the only gold medal in the IIHF World Championships for the United States to date. Sunday's final will start at 2:20 p.m. ET.
