It has been five days for residents of Southwest Detroit as officials have given a six week estimate before the entire 400 households impacted can return to normal.

The city says that of the nearly 400 homes in the flood zone, 190 had basements flooded and 174 lost heat. City officials have offered hotel rooms to those affected.
