Heavy snow, glaze ice on roads and powerlines and gusty winds are all part of this Winter Storm Watch issued for a section of Michigan starting late Tuesday.

"Confidence continues to increase in a band of heavy snow developing across the region late Tuesday night into Wednesday. This will start as rain, and quickly transition to a heavy, wet snow, with snowfall rates of an inch per hour or greater," the NWS says.

Yosemite is under an updated winter storm watch which was released by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 4:47 a.m. The watch is valid from Sunday 5 p.m. until Monday, Mar. 17 at 11 p.m.
