The New York Yankees wrap up a three-game series versus the Texas Rangers as they go for the sweep this afternoon in the Bronx.

Jasson Domínguez homered in the bottom of the ninth inning to rally the New York Yankees a 4-3 win over the Texas Rangers.

If the game ends up postponed, it could create a real scheduling bind for the teams as this is the Rangers’ only scheduled trip to Yankee Stadium. The obvious choice for rescheduling would be Sept. 11, an off day for the Rangers ahead of a series at the New York Mets, but the Yankees are scheduled to play that day against Detroit.

One of the reasons why the team hasn’t performed well on offense is because of two of their offseason acquisitions. Both Joc Pederson and Jake Burger have not had good campaigns thus far for the Rangers, resulting in some of the struggles.
