Charges against Liam Payne's friend Roger Nores and two hotel employees have been dropped, after they were linked to the One Direction singer's death.

Three appeals court judges in Buenos Aires ruled Wednesday that Liam Payne's friend Rogelio Nores will no longer be criminally charged in the One Direction star's death.

Following the announcement that charges against Mr Nores had been dropped, his lawyer Rafael Cuneo Libarona said he was "happy to have reversed the decision". He added: "We have always maintained that Rogelio Nores was not responsible for Liam Payne's death.
