A battle of the giants is set for the Barclays Center this December. UConn, Iowa, Louisville, and Tennessee will all face off in the Women’s Champion Classic, with the Huskies battling the Hawkeyes on Dec.

Fox Sports, in conjunction with Horizon Sports & Experiences, will air “The Shark Beauty Women’s Champions Classic” on Dec. 20, which is two weeks later than last year’s classic. This year, Iowa meets UConn in a 2024 Final Four rematch, while Tennessee faces Louisville. The event also is renewed for 2026.

The Women’s Champions Classic is coming back to Brooklyn in 2025. After more than 11,000 fans packed into Barclays Center in December for the inaugural marquee college basketball event, organizers announced Wednesday the two-game showcase will return for a second season.
