Find your removable drive under Removable data drives – BitLocker To Go and select it. Click Turn on BitLocker to start the encryption process (image shows what it looks like after turning it on).

All fixed data drives that are not BitLocker-protected will be mounted as Read-only. If the drive is protected by BitLocker, it will be mounted with Read and Write access.
