Brad Pitt is not on social media, his team reminded fans, after a French woman said she was conned out of $800,000 by scammers posing as the A-list actor.

Scammers told the woman Pitt needed funds to pay for a kidney treatment, but couldn’t access his bank accounts due to his grueling divorce from Angelina Jolie.

The scammers apparently convinced the woman that “Brad” needed money for cancer treatment by sending her numerous AI-generated images depicting the movie star in the hospital.
