COLORADO (KRDO) – The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating after a Colorado-operated plane had a close call with an active runway at the Los Angeles International Airport.

The plane was a Hawker 900XP charter plane and it departed from Grand Junction’s airport at 10:37 AM and tragically crashed ten minutes into its flight on the Utah side of the state borders.
