At 9:55 a.m. on Monday, the National Weather Service issued a flood warning in effect until Tuesday at 12:10 a.m. for Johnson County.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Parts of the Kansas City area are included in a flash flood warning through 1:15 p.m. The National Weather Service issued the warning for eastern Johnson County, east central Wyandotte County, northwestern Cass County and southwestern Jackson County.

Texas lawmakers will discuss the THC Ban, early warning systems for flood prone areas, and eliminating the STAAR test during this upcoming special session at the state capitol.

Many have decried Kerr County's lack of sirens on the Guadalupe River. Officials in counties that have the systems say they are well worth the money.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for parts of north central Missouri. Warnings have been issued for Chariton, Linn, Livingston and Randolph counties, northeast of the KC metro. The warning is in effect until 11:00 a.m.

A flash flood warning was released by the NWS Blacksburg VA on Saturday at 5:41 p.m. in effect until 11:45 p.m. for Caswell and Rockingham counties.

The National Weather Service issued both a flash flood warning and a flood advisory for parts of the Las Vegas valley Friday afternoon as scattered showers and thunderstorms began to hit.

The NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA released a flash flood warning at 2:47 p.m. on Friday in effect until 6 p.m. for Los Angeles.

The NWS Wakefield VA released an updated flash flood warning at 10:09 p.m. on Friday in effect until Saturday at 12:15 a.m. for Gates and Hertford counties.

A spokesperson for Camp Mystic and its owner's family cannot confirm whether flash flood emergency alerts reached personnel on July 4.
